In the Q&A, Dr Elodie Chabrol, gives her tips on the best ways to get into science communication and how to discuss animal research.
Pint of Science events invite researchers to discuss aspects of their work with the public in an informal environment, offering the chance to ask questions and find out more about the research happening on their doorsteps.
This Wednesday (20:00-21:30 CEST) as part of the festival at the Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht, the topic Can Medical Science Do Without Animal Experiments? will be discussed in an online event.
The University will also hold an open debate aimed at biomedical research professionals (in Dutch) about the use of animals in research, bringing together researchers and ethicists to discuss their continued use, on 8 June.
