The European Animal Research Association (EARA) will hold four online media training sessions in November, with the support of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies and the Society for Neuroscience.
The workshops, held in the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, will offer a country-specific overview of current animal research communication, and aim to equip attendees with the tools needed to start communicating about animal research to a wider audience.
Based on the EARA Communications Handbook, we will cover why it's important to be open and transparent about animal research, give tips on how to start talking to the media, plus advice about what to do in crisis situations.
These interactive online workshops, via Zoom, are aimed at researchers that use animals in their research, as well as communications staff, at institutions in those countries which conduct animal research.
All the events will run from 11:00 -14:00 CET. Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, spaces are limited, so those interested should register as soon as possible, using the links below.
