SECAL, the Spanish Society for Laboratory Animal Sciences, has developed a series of teaching booklets, aimed at children, on research using animals.
The booklets, Mi experiencia con la ciencia (My experience with Science) include activities combined with facts surrounding the use of laboratory animals.
They cover the use of zebrafish, mice, frogs, rabbits, sheep, and chicks, as well as introducing words and concepts surrounding genetics and animal welfare.
These booklets are available for free on the SECAL website and are also translated into English and Portuguese.
